Hyderabad: Renowned breast cancer surgeon and healthcare advocate Dr. P. Raghu Ram has achieved a remarkable milestone by securing a Guinness World Records title for conducting the largest audience at an interactive AI-enabled holographic health awareness lecture. The achievement marks his third Guinness World Record in just 15 months, highlighting his continued efforts to revolutionize public health education through innovation and technology.

The record-setting event showcased the transformative potential of artificial intelligence in healthcare communication. An AI-generated holographic avatar of Dr. Raghu Ram delivered an interactive lecture focused on breast health awareness, providing attendees with evidence-based information on breast cancer, benign breast diseases, screening methods, and the importance of early detection.

What made the initiative particularly unique was the use of advanced holographic technology combined with artificial intelligence to create an immersive educational experience. Following the lecture, the AI-powered avatar engaged with participants through a multilingual question-and-answer session, responding to queries in English, Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil. The interactive format enabled broader accessibility and audience engagement, demonstrating how emerging technologies can be effectively used to address critical public health challenges.

The event also witnessed the launch of NARI (National Awareness & Resource Initiative for Breast Health), an AI-driven digital platform designed to provide round-the-clock access to reliable breast health information. The platform aims to empower women by offering guidance on breast cancer awareness, screening, early diagnosis, and treatment options in multiple Indian languages.

According to the organizers, NARI has been developed to bridge healthcare information gaps, particularly in underserved and rural communities where access to specialized medical guidance remains limited. By leveraging artificial intelligence, the initiative seeks to make accurate and evidence-based breast health information available to women across the country regardless of geographic location.

The event was attended by several distinguished guests, including Dr. Abhijat Sheth, Chairman of the National Medical Commission (NMC), who praised the initiative as a significant public health innovation. He noted that the achievement extends beyond setting a world record and has the potential to positively impact countless individuals through improved awareness and education.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Raghu Ram dedicated the Guinness World Record recognition to his late mother, Dr. Ushalakshmi, a gynecologist and breast cancer survivor whose personal journey inspired the creation of the Ushalakshmi Breast Cancer Foundation. He emphasized that the ultimate objective of the initiative is to democratize access to trustworthy breast health information, reduce stigma associated with breast cancer, and encourage women to seek timely screening and treatment.

Breast cancer continues to be the most commonly diagnosed cancer among women in India, making awareness and early detection critical components of improving patient outcomes. Experts believe that innovative approaches such as AI-powered health education platforms and holographic communication technologies could play a vital role in strengthening public health outreach efforts in the future.

Dr. Raghu Ram's latest achievement serves as a powerful example of how technology and healthcare can come together to enhance health literacy, expand access to information, and inspire positive change in communities across the country.
