The MCC just announced a Special Stray Vacancy Round for NEET UG Counselling 2025. Basically, this is one more shot at grabbing any MBBS, BDS, or BSc Nursing seats still left open under the All-India Quota (AIQ), Deemed and Central Universities, and some state quota lists. This round comes after all the main rounds — it’s here to make sure every last seat finds a student for 2025-26.

Why this extra round?

Well, even after the regular Stray Vacancy Round, some seats stay empty — probably because students didn’t show up or dropped out last minute. To fix that, MCC set up this Special Stray Vacancy Round. If you want in, you’ll need to fill out your choices again from scratch. Anything you picked before? Doesn’t count now. And if you’re already holding a seat from an earlier round, you can’t join this one.

Seat Matrix — What’s Actually Available?

MCC has put out the seat matrix for this Special Stray Round — basically, a list of all the open seats in MBBS, BDS, and BSc Nursing across India for this round. You’ll find it on the MCC website in the Current Events section, or just search forSEAT MATRIX UG MBBS SPECIAL STRAY ROUND UG 2025.”

What’s inside?

  • – College names and states
  • – Which course to pick (MBBS/BDS/BSc Nursing)
  • – How many seats are remaining
  • – classify by category (General, SC, ST, OBC, EWS, PwBD)

One thing: seat availability keeps shifting as students accept or drop seats, so always check the latest PDF on mcc.nic.in before you make decisions.

Who Can Join This Round?

  • – You can’t already be holding a seat from earlier MCC or State rounds.
  • – You have to register again and fill out your choices fresh — old preferences don’t carry over.
  • – If you get a seat but don’t show up, you’ll lose your refundable security deposit.

How To Register (Quick Guide)

  • 1. Go to mcc.nic.in
  • 2. Head to UG Medical Counselling and start “New Registration 2025”
  • 3. Enter your NEET details (roll number, date of birth, etc.)
  • 4. Finish registration and pay the fee
  • 5. Fill your choices and lock them before the deadline
  • 6. Submit and keep the confirmation safe

(Details might change a bit — always follow MCC’s steps on their official portal.)

Things To Remember

  • – Your old choice list is gone — submit a new one. Previous picks don’t count here.
  • – This is your last chance to grab any leftover seats before classes begin.
  • – MBBS seats are always tough to get — choose wisely to boost your odds.
  • – BDS and BSc Nursing seats are open too, so don’t overlook them if you’re eligible.
