This year's examination witnessed intense competition, with approximately 20 lakh candidates appearing for the exam and 11.21 lakh candidates successfully qualifying for admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, and Allied Medical Courses. The examination was conducted in 13 languages across 551 cities in India and 14 international cities, making it one of the largest medical entrance examinations in the world.
