The National Testing Agency has officially declared the conduct of Re-NEET UG 2026 through a fresh public notification released on 15 May 2026. The notice confirms that eligible candidates will once again appear for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate), one of the country’s most competitive medical entrance examinations.

02:00 PM to 05:15 PM (IST)

To ensure wider accessibility, the examination will be conducted in 13 different languages, including:

The multilingual format continues to support students from diverse educational and regional backgrounds across the country.

 

Facility to Change Exam City Reopened

The notification also introduces a fresh opportunity for candidates to modify certain details. Students are now permitted to:

   Update their present address

   Change their preferred examination city

Correction Window

   Begins: 15 May 2026

   Ends: 21 May 2026 (11:50 PM)

The NTA has stated that no requests will be accepted after the deadline, and previously selected city preferences will remain unchanged if candidates fail to make updates within the given period.

 

No Extra Charges for Re-Examination

The authority has clearly mentioned that candidates will not have to pay any additional fee for appearing in the Re-NEET examination. This move is expected to provide relief to lakhs of aspirants already dealing with uncertainty surrounding the examination process.
